Our approach to disability<\/span><\/h1>

In the gentle light of the Loue, our estate ensures that every traveler finds his or her place<\/strong>.Because here, the word “welcome” is not just said – it’s lived, in gestures, in attentions, in respect for each individual. Like a promise whispered by the valley itself: no one should be left by the wayside<\/em>. <\/p>

Free breath, comfort of movement<\/span><\/h2>

The flat, welcoming terrain allows everyone to move around freely, from the restaurant to the reception, from the grocery store to the washrooms. Wheelchairs roll unobstructed to reserved spaces close to amenities. In the large sanitary building, a complete area – shower, toilet and washbasin – awaits travellers with reduced mobility, while another toilet is accessible in the restaurant. <\/p>

The sinks and laundry bins have been designed with everyone in mind, and even the chore of washing up is a thing of the past thanks to a magical, free dishwasher. Every detail, right down to the slope of a path, has been imagined to make freedom of movement natural again. <\/p>

A refuge for all, the spirit of inclusion<\/span><\/h2>

Since 2016, our Caborde Cottage for guests with disabilities<\/strong> and our Canadian Lodge<\/strong>\u2014both certified by Tourisme & Handicap<\/em>\u2014have offered a peaceful and accessible stay. But our quest doesn\u2019t stop there. Each season, we improve our facilities, guided by the advice and needs of our guests. Around us, partners share this same drive: the Courbet Museum<\/a> in Ornans, the Hameau du Fromage<\/a> in Cl\u00e9ron, and the Mus\u00e9e des Maisons Comtoises<\/strong> in Nancray. The Nautiloue<\/a> water park is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility,<\/strong> from the entrance gate to the locker rooms, including the showers, restrooms, and pool areas; however, the water park does not have a system for assisting people with reduced mobility into the water, nor does it have an access ramp to the pools. Because, at the end of the day, hospitality is first and foremost about listening\u2014and making every stay a story in its own right. <\/p>
